Eimei Shimizu
Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1960, Eimei has a father-in-law who is a bonsai artisan and a renowned expert in glazing in Tokoname.He makes round pots on the potter’s wheel. For other shape, he uses molds but also employs carving techniques. In particular, the crafting of the feet of his pots is delicate.
